Hat day - Thursday 4 August 2011

'Hat Day' celebrated its 7th birthday this year on the traditional Thursday (4th August) of the Great British Beer Festival.

Visitors have been encouraged since 2005 to participate in this fun event by bringing a hat along that they have either made or are very fond of.

2011's Individual Winner

Kennedy, all the way from New Zealand, won Hat of the Day for her fantastic creation and walked away with this year's trophy.

Kennedy won a goody bag which included some CAMRA books, beer vouchers, GBBF T-Shirt and CAMRA pen.
