Bishop Nick is thrilled to be making a first-time appearance at the Great British Beer Festival. The Essex-based brewery was awarded Silver Supreme Champion Beer of Britain in 2017 for their leading brand Ridley’s Rite and last year their 1555 was awarded SILVER in the Best Bitters category. The three core beers they are presenting this year have all won GOLD at CAMRA’s Champion Beers of East Anglia. Bishop Nick was founded in 2011 by Nelion Ridley – the 6th generation of the notable Essex brewing family. Based in Braintree, a few miles from Hartford End where Ridley’s Brewery operated for 163 years, Nelion is devoted to keeping Essex Ales sacred.
We’re a family run independent brewery based in the heart of Highgate, London. Gorgeous Brewery has a small, tight-knit team who all share a passion for creating an eclectic, deliciously drinkable range with an emphasis on hand-crafted quality. The brewery works with little automation, so a whole lot of care and hard work goes into everything we make.
Inspired by local brewing traditions and the vibrant US craft beer scene, Magic Rock Brewing is the culmination of a lifelong passion for beer. Richard Burhouse (aided by head brewer Stuart Ross) started the brewery in 2011 in an old out-building of the family business (an importer of crystals and natural gifts) in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Alongside a distinctive core range we produce an ever-changing line up of idiosyncratic beers with an innovative quality driven approach. Our ‘Same but Different’ beers are packed with intense yet approachable flavours which will challenge and inspire, but above all remain balanced and drinkable.
Reunion is an award-winning, young brewer of Modern Session Beers. We strongly believe that you shouldn’t have to work hard to enjoy craft beer and Reunion is the only London brewery to put sessionability at the heart of its proposition. Each of our beers is carefully engineered to be easy drinking – the well balanced sum of its parts with no single ingredient coming too much to the fore. If a second Reunion doesn’t follow the first, we’ve manifestly failed.
The St Austell Brewery bar will once again be rocking its way through the festival courtesy of some great beers from both St Austell Brewery and Bath Ales, plus music from DJ Lennie B. Our range this year will include both cask and live keg beer.
Founded in 2004, and brewing in the Home of English Rugby, Twickenham is now London’s oldest micro (and independent) brewery. Our quest is for well hopped, sessionable beers, with the likes of Naked Ladies and Grandstand, mean we’ve been winning at the GBBF since 2007. From Gothick Dark, our strong mild, though our English hopped Wolf of the Woods, to our 6.1% hop bomb Daisy Cutter, our range of seasonals and monthly specials mean we produce over 25 wonderful beers, in cask and keg, each year.
We use hops and malts from the UK and from across the world to give our ales their distinctive taste. We run a full barrel system from our premises where all our creative flair and enthusiasm, both in the exceptional, crafted beers we produce and the passion for quality design and highly effective branding will be embraced. Our beers are the highest quality and include only the finest natural ingredients. Carefully selected for their distinctive flavour profile, the beers are classically fermented for a smooth, bold taste and dry hopped for that modern twist, giving heavy aroma and punchy finish. We produce beer and lager that is distributed within the country. Our main product lines are Lager, American Pale Ale, IPA, Stouts and Session Ales.
The story of how the town Bible was sold to buy a bear is spoken far and wide. Such brazen courage changed the town forever, leaving a special kind of legacy that lasts to this day. We use our past as inspiration for our future; taking confidence from our decades of experience and new innovative approach of blending traditional and modern beer styles. Formed in 1994, our story is one of hard work and sacrifice, never compromising on provenance or quality. We here in Beartown may not be perfect, but we sure are capable of perfection.
Bedlam – more than just a brewery. Bedlam has a strong team ethic brewing the finest beer they can, available in both cask and keg, using only the finest ingredients. A core range of four cask conditioned beers is complemented by an ever-changing range of exciting seasonal, limited edition ales. Bedlam Brewery is based at the foot of the South Downs just outside the vibrant city of Brighton. With strong environmental credentials, all the energy required for brewing comes from solar panels, they harvest their own hops to brew a seasonal harvest ale and even supply local farmers with all their spent grain and hops which they then use as feed for their cattle.
Bradfield Brewery is a family run brewery based on a busy working farm in the Peak District village of Bradfield. Using the finest malts, traditional hops and natural spring water from their own borehole they produce a range of distinctive and award winning cask conditioned real ales. Their range of ales is well known as the ‘Farmers Ale’ range and includes an all year round offering of Farmers Blonde, Farmers Pale Ale, Farmers Brown Cow, Farmers Stout & Yorkshire Farmer.

Tatton Brewery, set in the heart of Cheshire, have a strong reputation for making consistently, high quality, ‘drinkable’ beers with distinct flavour and character, deriving from a unique historic Cheshire yeast, making Tatton stand out from the crowd. Tatton Brewery has been specifically designed for consistency and quality, and this is evidenced in their cask, keg and bottled beers. They know that each and every pint or bottle of Tatton needs to be as good as the last. In short Tatton brewery make ‘no hype, no nonsense, beer you can trust’.
Independently brewing since 1995, West Berkshire Brewery are proud to be anchored by our founders’ principals; respect for tradition, commitment to build a sustainable future and a focus on community. We pride ourselves on championing traditional brewing techniques to brew award winning ales, most notably our Best Bitter ‘Good Old Boy’.
Founded in 2014 by home-brewing school friends Paul Anspach & Jack Hobday, Anspach & Hobday brew quality Ales, Porters and Lagers with a strong influence of tradition and a keen eye on the future. Leading with a classic London Porter, Anspach & Hobday explore a wide variety of styles including IPAs, Saisons, Blondes, Smoked beers to name but a few. Attention to detail, balance of flavour, and respect for process are at the heart of every beer produced. Independently owned and responsible for 100% of their own production, Anspach & Hobday are a proud London Brewery.

Dawkins Ales is an innovative independent brewery based in Easton, Bristol. The business was developed from the established Dawkins Taverns group of real ale pubs in the city and now has a new offshoot in Edinburgh, Steel Coulson Ltd with the aim of re-establishing that long-lost brewery. A wide range of beers are made from traditional best bitters to modern, hop-forward beers but always with balance and elegance to the fore. Beers are brewed by hand in small batches in cask and bottle-conditioned and keg-conditioned formats.
Using a blend of local hops, water filtered through the Sussex Downs over 30 years, and Harvey’s unique 60 year old yeast strain, Harvey’s beers are the embodiment of Sussex. How we operate, where we source our ingredients and where our by-products go are what make our beers distinct. Come along to the Harvey’s Hop Bar where we will be featuring a range of our award winning cask ales. Established in 1790 Harvey’s is still owned by the family, Hamish Elder our MD is seventh generation and we have eighth generation working within the business. We wunt be druv.
Padstow Brewing Co. was founded in 2013 by husband and wife team Caron and Des Archer. A multi-award-winning independent craft brewery set on Cornwall’s rugged North Coast, the brewery continues to brew across a wide range of styles from traditional real ales to innovative craft beers. We work closely with fantastic charitable causes. Lobster Tale raises money for the National Lobster Hatchery, whilst Lifeboat Lager features and raises money for the RNLI. Padstow Pilsner won best beer at the Great British Food Awards 2018, whilst The Smoke – a 5.5% smoked oatmeal stout – picked up a Gold Award at the SIBA Independent Awards 2019.
Salcombe Brewery’s hand-crafted ales are created at the stunning Brewhouse overlooking the Devon hills with views towards the Salcombe Estuary. The beers reflect the surrounding areas with the aptly named Seahorse, representative of seahorses found in the local waters. Salcombe Brewery supports the Seahorse Trust to maintain the protection of these amazing sea animals. Safety in the local waters is paramount to life in Salcombe. 5p a pint of Lifesaver goes directly to the RNLI who are committed to savings lives at sea. Ranging from the golden and hoppy Salcombe Gold to the light Shingle Bay, there’s a Salcombe pint to suit everyone.
Founded in Brad’s garage in 2012, Brad and Gazz set out to produce the most exciting and experimental Craft Beer in the UK. After winning multiple awards we very quickly realised there was a love for our beer and our brand worldwide.
We have one rule… ‘Never just make vanilla ice cream’.
Based on a Dairy farm in rural Somerset in 2012, The Wild Beer Co was born out of a love of fermentation, barrel-ageing and most importantly, flavour. Unconstrained by stylistic guidelines and led by flavour, we celebrate traditional techniques whilst embracing a sense of modernity in our brewing. Inspired by ingredients, the wild nature of our beers is seen in the use of alternative fermentations, unorthodox yeasts and seasonally-foraged ingredients with Barrel-ageing and blending at the heart of it. We wait patiently for the beers in our library of over 600 barrels, where time reveals complex layers and flavours.
At 175 years old, Arkell’s Brewery is one of the few family breweries left in the UK, established as an offshoot to the family farm near Swindon when Isambard Kingdom Brunel was building his Great Western Railway locomotive works. The beer, which first quenched the thirst of Brunel’s railway workers, is brewed in much the same way as when John Arkell began the process in 1843 and the brewery buildings appear untouched by the passing years. But Arkell’s has not achieved its unique position by standing still. It constantly invests in staff, equipment and pubs, and most importantly the beer itself. The result? A host of national awards for its beers.
Big Hand Brewing is a family owned and operated microbrew in North Wales. We have been operating since 2013. We quickly established Big Hand in the local craft beer scene and generated an excellent reputation for consistent quality. We have pride in our ethos; Honest, Classic and Contemporary. A solid range of core beers covers a wide range of styles, from “Appaloosa” our American pale ale to “Spectre” our Welsh stout.
The Five Points Brewing Company is an independent brewery based in Hackney, East London, brewing with a commitment to quality and the community since 2013. The Five Points champions flavour, provenance and consistency, and their range of award-winning beers are unfiltered and unpasteurised for better taste and aroma. Their beers are inspired by a passion for both the British real ale tradition and the best of the international craft beer movement. Alongside its vibrant keg beer offering, the Five Points is committed to brewing modern cask ale, which looks to the future as well as drawing on the brewing heritage of the past.
Loch Lomond Brewery (LLB) started life in a kitchen in Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond. A desire to brew beer and create a family business that would allow the whole family to get involved, the brewery launched in Alexandria in 2011. Having brewed a number of award winning beers including CAMRA Champion Beer of Scotland in 2017 and SIBA Supreme Cask Champion of the UK in 2016, LLB have recently rebranded to include a number of new beers in cask, keg, bottle and can. LLB are still brewing on the original 10bbl kit but their passion has not faded and after Crowdfunding in 2018, plans are to install a state of the art 35HL brewery in a larger premise this summer.
Quantock Brewery was established in 2008 as a small family brewery to produce a range of high quality beers that would stand out from the larger brands which typically were lacking in flavour and character. Our beers have won numerous awards over the years, the highlight being in 2013 when Wills Neck won the SIBA UK Supreme Champion Beer. We produce our Classic Range of traditional cask beers and also our newer Modern Range of craft beers. Information on all our beers can be viewed on our website.
Siren Craft Brew was born in 2013 with a simple idea in mind: to introduce exciting, full-ﬂavoured and forward-thinking beers to as many people as possible.
There are now six Sirens of Siren Craft Brew. These Sirens characterise our flagship beers. They’re adventurous but drinkable, designed to be accessible to those lured into craft beer, yet flavourful enough for those seasoned beer fans to return to time and time again.
We are lucky enough to have been named the ‘Best Brewer in England’ by Ratebeer users in 2015, and added to that with a Supreme Champion Beer of Britain award by CAMRA in 2018.

Brewed in the creative and industrial heart of the West Midlands, two Staffordshire brothers Keith & Dave Bott have owned and been running Titanic Brewery for over 30 years. Titanic Brewery was one of the very first new microbreweries in the UK and have been at the forefront of innovation throughout the 30 years of our history.
At Wimbledon Brewery we’re all about balance. Master Brewer Derek Prentice and Head Brewer Charlie Long have created a superb collection of beautifully balanced beers, from traditional session pale ales to Helles-style lager and American pale. Derek was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from SIBA last year for over 50 years in the brewing industry, so brewing with supremely talented Head Brewer Charlie Long, we showcase great balance of tradition and modernity in the portfolio. We were extremely proud to collect the trophy for Overall Cask Champion at the International Brewing Awards this year for our Copper Leaf Ale.
