Watch the GBBF 2014 BeerCast's below and get a feel for the festival:
The 37th Great British Beer Festival is about to begin. The casks are in place, the pipes cleaned and taps are being tested. This year the festival is expecting 50,000 visitors who will find beers, ciders and perries, food and entertainment and the occasional celebrity (Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson is rumoured to be here). It is a huge event that engages a thousand volunteers and takes a great deal of organising. Johnny Mindlin takes a look behind the scenes to see how it all works.
Remember, you can't purchase advance rate tickets on the day of your visit but tickets are available on the door for £14 or £11 for CAMRA members.
