About The Festival
Britain's Biggest Pub opens its doors for a five day festival on Tuesday 7th August. There will be over 800 different real ales, ciders and foreign beers for the expected 50,000 crowd to try.
This fun event is not all about the beer though. There are a variety of different foods from around the world and music to enjoy.
This event really is a beer drinker's paradise!
By Underground
A limited District Line service from Earls Court runs to Kensington (Olympia). It is advisable to check the Travel For London (TFL) website for service information prior to travelling to make sure trains at the times you intend to travel are in service.
By National Rail/Overground:
London Overground and Southern Trains run direct services to Kensington (Olympia). Direct services run from Clapham Junction, Balham, East Croydon, Shepherd's Bush, Watford Junction, Milton Keynes Central, Willesden Junction, West Hampstead and Stratford.
Please check the Travel For London (TFL) website for Overground timetables and Southern Trains for national rail services.
By Bus
The following buses all stop within very short walking distance of the venues.
9 - runs from Aldwych to Hammersmith (south) and Hammersmith to Aldwych (north). There is also a night bus route - N9.
10 - runs from Kings Cross to Hammersmith (south) and Hammersmith to Kings Cross (north). There is also a night bus route - N10 - that extends to Richmond (south).
27 - runs from Chalk Farm to Turnham Green (south) and Turnham Green to Chalk Farm (north). This bus runs 24 hours a day.
28 - runs from Kensal Rise to Wandsworth (south) and Wandsworth to Kensal Rise (north). There is also a night bus route - N28 that extends to Camden Town (north).
49 - runs from White City to Clapham Junction (south) and Clapham Junction to White City (north). It stops on Holland Road and Olympia is just around the corner.
391 - runs from Fulham to Richmond (south) and Richmond to Fulham (north). It stops at the top of North End Road, opposite the venues.
By Car
It's quicker and easier to travel to the venues by public transport, but we realise that sometimes you've just got to drive. If you choose to drive to the venue please see the parking tariff.

Parking
There are disabled bays available in the multi-storey car park at Olympia.
Please note that EC&O Venues' parking tariff is applicable to all visitors and unfortunately no discounts are available, other than the daily pre-booked rate.
Venue Access
Olympia Grand Hall access is on Olympia Way. Olympia National Hall and Olympia Two access is via the main entrances on Hammersmith Road. Lifts are then used to access each floor. Olympia Conference Centre has its own entrance on Hammersmith Road and is accessed via a ramp in the foyer and lifts to Level 3.

Manual Wheelchair Loan
Wheelchairs are available on loan for use at both venues, on receipt of a refundable security deposit. We recommend that wheelchairs are booked in advance by calling 020 7598 2411 for Olympia. Your wheelchair can then be made ready for you on arrival at the venue.
Hearing Assistance
Both Reception and on site Box Office staff in our venues will assist in your enquiries as required. Our switchboard operates the 'Typetalk' system, the textphone relay service for hard of hearing people. Hearing loops are installed in the majority of demonstration and lecture areas at events.
Assistance Dogs
All assistance dogs are welcome. Venue staff should be approached for further information. It is however not recommended that animals be subjected to the loud noises and special effects from concerts. The venue should be contacted directly should you have concerns or special requirements.
Toilets & Cloakrooms
See Venue Floor Plans for the location of cloakrooms and disabled toilets. All disabled toilet facilities are unisex.
Box Office/Seated events
There is space provided for wheelchair users with one accompanying person permitted per wheelchair. We endeavour to accommodate other special needs visitors if possible at all seated events. Please notify the Box Office on 020 7370 8078 when booking your tickets if you have any special needs.
First Aid/Medical Assistance
Special medical requirements or concerns should be notified to the venue prior to arrival. This will allow us to provide you with the required level of medical care. For all events, qualified staff and facilities are available in each hall.
Taxi Booking
Accessible taxis can be booked through Computer Cab (020 7432 1432). Access to the venue after a concert for taxis is restricted. The venue should be contacted if a taxi has been pre-booked.
Restaurants & Bars
All facilities can provide services at ground level. Please ask a member of staff for assistance. Large print menus are available on request. Any special requirements should be directed to the venue prior to arrival.

Press Access
Entry will granted on production of a valid NUJ pass (or similar, e.g. Newspaper Society pass) via the press entrance.
No advance press passes are required.

Trade Session Tickets
Due to the limited size of the venue, all pubs/clubs are entitled to up to 2 trade session tickets for the Festival this year. All breweries can order up to 10, but for more tickets, breweries will need to email gillian.dale@camra.org.uk with their request and will be informed if their application has been successful at a later date when the trade ticket ordering window has closed. This same policy applies to all other parties affiliated to the beer and pub industry, who can order up to 5 trade session tickets.
Session Details
The Trade Session takes place on Tuesday 7th August 2012 and runs from 12 noon-5pm. This session provides the opportunity for all sectors of the trade to come together and sample some of the finest beers in the UK.
Admission is by ticket only - please see above for details on how to apply for your free trade ticket.
Attendees will also be the first to hear the judges' choice for the 2012 Champion Beer of Britain.
